New Horizons for Young Women has helped hundreds of girls with all sorts of challenges — from low self-esteem, academic underachievement and motivation issues to eating disorders, drug and alcohol experimentation and depression to physical aggression, defiance, self-abuse and sexual promiscuity.
We don't do it through deprivation or scare tactics. Instead, we provide a nurturing environment and teach responsible behaviors through no-frills wilderness expeditions, group and individual clinical therapy sessions and emotional growth.
